Widely used for anti-slip flooring in industrial platforms, stair treads, ramps, vehicle steps, and ship decks. Also suitable for commercial kitchens, elevator cabins, architectural cladding, and heavy machinery walkways. The raised pattern provides excellent slip resistance, while stainless steel offers corrosion protection and easy cleaning, making it ideal for wet, oily, or outdoor environments. 

Production description

The process begins with stainless steel coil (grade 201, 304, 316L, or 430) which is annealed and pickled to ensure a clean surface. The coil is fed into a rolling mill equipped with specially engraved patterned rolls. For cold-rolled checkered plates, the pattern is embossed during the cold reduction pass, with the raised design (tear drop, diamond, or lentil) formed simultaneously with thickness reduction. For hot-rolled patterns, the slab is reheated and passed through patterned rolls at high temperature. After rolling, the plate is annealed to relieve internal stresses and then pickled or descaled to restore corrosion resistance. The reverse side remains flat with a 2B, BA, No.1, or HL finish. The plate is then leveled, cut to length, inspected for pattern uniformity and thickness tolerance, and packed for delivery.

Shipping Packaging

For export, stainless steel checkered plates are interleaved with kraft paper or foam, packed on ISPM-15 certified wooden pallets, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Moisture-proof wrapping added. Labels include grade, pattern type, dimensions, and heat number for safe sea freight.
