Production description

The production begins with melting raw materials (iron ore, chromium, nickel, etc.) in an electric arc furnace, followed by refining in an AOD or VOD vessel to achieve precise chemical composition. The molten steel is cast into slabs via continuous casting. Slabs are then reheated and hot-rolled to reduce thickness, followed by annealing and pickling to remove scale and restore corrosion resistance. For cold-rolled sheets, the hot-rolled coil is further processed through cold rolling mills at room temperature to achieve tighter tolerances and smoother surfaces. Intermediate and final annealing ensures proper grain structure and ductility. Skin passing or leveling may be applied to improve flatness and mechanical properties. Finally, the sheet is cut to size, inspected, and packed for delivery.

For export, stainless steel sheets are interleaved with kraft paper or PVC film, wrapped with VCI and moisture-proof polyethylene, packed on ISPM-15 certified wooden pallets, secured with steel straps, and labeled with grade, dimensions, and heat number for safe sea freight.
