Guardrail
Product Description
Manufactured from high-strength steel sections (tube, channel, I-beam, or W-beam) via roll forming, bending, and welding into a rigid railing system. Features high impact resistance, excellent energy absorption, standardized mounting connections, and durable anti-corrosion coating. Designed for vehicle restraint and pedestrian fall protection on highway bridges, railway bridges, pedestrian overpasses, and viaducts.
Available types: metal beam bridge railing (horizontal rails with vertical posts), Thrie-beam bridge railing (three-wave profile for higher containment), and pedestrian bridge railing (lower height with picket or mesh infill).

Application description:
Widely used on highway bridges, railway bridges, pedestrian overpasses, urban viaducts, and waterfront boardwalks. Also suitable for tunnel portals, retaining walls, and elevated walkways. Provides vehicle restraint and pedestrian fall protection in both new construction and retrofitting projects.

Production description
Steel tube or sheet is cut, bent, roll-formed, or welded to create rail profiles and posts. Holes are drilled for connections. Components are then hot-dip galvanized (or galvanized + powder coated). For stainless steel, finishing includes polishing. Parts are inspected, bundled, and shipped loose or pre-assembled.

Shipping Packaging
For export, bridge railing rails and posts are bundled with wooden separators, secured with steel straps, fitted with edge protectors, and packed on ISPM-15 pallets or steel frames. Bolts and accessories packed separately. Labels include material, profile, length, coating, and quantity for safe sea freight.

Why Choose Us?
1.Factory Strength:Direct manufacturer with roll forming, bending, welding, and hot-dip galvanizing/powder coating lines, producing steel bridge railings in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with consistent profile accuracy and weld integrity.
2.Quality Assurance:Strict control of material grade, impact resistance (TL-2 to TL-5), dimensional accuracy (±2mm), and coating adhesion; 100% weld and coating inspection; compliant with AASHTO M180, EN 1317-2, GB/T 31439.
3.Certifications & Reports:Mill test certificates (MTC) with each shipment; third-party inspections (SGS, BV) and weld/coating test reports available upon request.
4.Customization & Service:Wide range of rail profiles (round, square, W-beam, Thrie-beam), heights (1.0–1.5m), post spacings, coatings (galvanized, powder coated, stainless steel), and pedestrian infill options with fast lead times.
5.Export Packaging:Wooden separators + steel strapping + edge protectors + ISPM-15 pallets/steel frames + separate accessory boxes + clear labeling for safe sea freight and damage-free delivery.
FAQ
1. How to store steel bridge railing components before installation?
Store on dry, level ground on wooden pallets, keep components covered and off wet ground. Avoid stacking heavy loads that could bend rails or posts. For galvanized parts, minor coating scratches should be repaired with zinc-rich paint. Keep bolts and accessories in dry boxes.
2. What containment level (TL) should I choose for my bridge?
TL-2 is for low-volume roads with passenger cars. TL-3 covers passenger cars and pickup trucks (most state highways). TL-4 is for heavy trucks (single-unit, 15 tons) at moderate speeds. TL-5 is for tractor-trailers (36 tons) on high-speed highways and major bridges. Choose based on expected traffic, speed, and bridge location.
3. Can you supply curved bridge railing sections?
Yes. We can roll-curve rails to match bridge radius (horizontal or vertical curves). Minimum radius depends on rail profile and material. For sharp curves, shorter rail sections or flexible joints are recommended. Provide radius drawings for custom fabrication.
