Product Description

Produced from hot rolled coils through pickling and cold rolling at room temperature. Features a smooth, clean surface, precise thickness tolerance, and excellent surface flatness. Offers good formability, deep drawability, and uniform mechanical properties. Available in a wide range of grades including SPCC, SPCD, SPCE, DC01, DC03, DC04, ST12, ST14, Q195, Q235, and low-carbon steel. Typical thickness from 0.3mm to 3.0mm. Surface finishes: bright (standard), matt, or oiled/un-oiled as required. Easy to cut, stamp, bend, and weld. Custom widths, coil weights, and edge conditions (slit or mill edge) available.

Application description:

Cold rolled steel sheet is widely used in automotive panels (doors, hoods, roofs), home appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves), and furniture (cabinets, desks, shelving). It also serves in electrical enclosures, metal packaging (drums, cans), lighting fixtures, and precision stamped parts. The smooth surface and tight tolerances make it ideal for products requiring painting, plating, or decorative finishes.

Production description

The process starts with hot rolled coils, which are pickled in acid to remove surface scale. The pickled coils are then cold rolled at room temperature through a tandem or reversing mill to achieve precise thickness, smooth surface, and improved mechanical properties. The cold reduction hardens the steel, so the coils are annealed in a protective atmosphere to restore ductility and softness. A final skin pass (temper rolling) may be applied to improve flatness, surface finish, and hardness. Optionally, oil is applied for corrosion protection. The sheets or coils are then inspected, cut to size if required, and packed for delivery.

Shipping Packaging

For export, cold rolled steel sheets are interleaved with VCI paper and moisture-proof film, stacked on ISPM-15 certified wooden pallets, secured with steel straps, and protected with edge protectors. Labels with grade, dimensions, and heat number are attached for safe sea freight.
